Home Office

I have a client that is furnishing thier new house, including the office. They are drawn to the pottery barn style.  So I'm working by blogging!  LOL

I love these options, the office space will be used for a couple, with that said I'm pretty sure HE will want a more masculine feel to the room.  I'm guessing, Oak traditional office, she is drawn to more femine rooms. Although we are doing several rooms in the house.  So we will See!!!  I'm told as long a he gets his Man Room with pool table, etc.  We may get more say so thoughtout the rest of the home..... Keep you posted!!

xoxo,
Cathleen

They're all nice. I don't think I could pick one out of all those. I'd have to mix from all of them.

Good luck juggling his and her's needs - your job seems to be part interior designer, part psychologist!

I love that picture of an office with a shelf full of art. It is an original way to display art, and it allows for quite a few pieces of art in the room.

Great pictures. I'll be anxious to see what you come up with to please them both!

Cathleen,
Ballard shows a great setup by putting the desk perpendicular to the wall and creating two work spaces, adjoined to another desk.
I love love love the French desks...but nah...a man is not going to go for that!
I am redoing my office now too, can't wait until it is finished!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for these clients. Personally I like the white office with the shelf of art - very nice! With the right neutral (i.e., not masculine or femine) desk and furniture, this look could totally work :-)

I have to admit I'm a smidge jealous of your clients... I want and need a home office but the space designated in our basement needs to be gutted and re-built!

Have fun with this project!

I like the sexy black desk in the modern glass house! So nice to be able to have a desk that clean (not a chance when you truly work from home with fabric books and lint flying around everywhere :)

All of those offices are fantastic -- how are you going to choose?! I especially like the first, second, and fourth pictures. The big clocks are great, and I love the large silver letters on the wall in the sixth picture.

Thanks for following our blog!! :-)
