It's amazing how many looks you can get with a simple pillow. By using neutral colored fabrics on furnishings, you can create a new look with the simple change of a pillow!
Oh how I so agree. I have learned the hard way to keep all the furniture pieces neutral, then as my taste changes and I discover new style or colors that I want to use, changing the pillows and a few accessories really does the trick. Hugs, Marty
I switch out my pillows a couple of times a year. I use an almost robins egg blue in the spring/summer, and a rich burgandy red in the fall/winter. It's a nice change, and I can add candles and other accents to tie it together, too! :)
And a very inexpensive way to afford great change Cathleen. Your post has reminded me to do a bit of change of colour for these colder months. Millie ^_^
Hi Cathleen! I love pillows too. I sew, so I make most all of mine! Now you're making me want to go and buy material and make some more! LOL Be a sweetie, Shelia ;)
Oh, I want that pretty settee with the coral pillows on it! For we women who frequently change our minds, pillows are such a wonderful, inexpensive way to give everything a new look. laurie

The coral colored ones are just beautiful!! Love them!
I have white shabby chic sofas in one of our condos and love to change the look by adding different pillows. Easy and fun way to make a difference.
Hugs!

So true! I have white couches for exactly that reason and I do change the cushions from time to time. Love the images you have chosen as examples!

I'm a bit addicted to throw cushions. I have way more than I need, but I keep wanting more!!
I really like the orange & tan cushions in the last few pictures.
