White Cuckoo
My Clock
This is my cuckoo, I haven't hung it up for the last 5 years simply because the wood doesn't really match my decor. I really want to paint it all white similar to the clock above. Is this crazy? Help!!!xoxo,

wow thats ballsy!! if it has been passed down, then no, but if u bought it then paint it!! that would be fun and fresh
I'm with Courtney. If it was an heirloom, I'm not sure I could do it. But if I purchase something on my own... I whip out the spray paint anytime!
It's not a family heirloom, i did purchase it myself in Solvang, Ca ( about $350.00). But, it is hand carved from germany! Help!
Oh I say go for it Cathleen - I reckon the cuckoo clock's soul will thank you for giving it a bright new white life & ridding it of that awful brown look!

Better to paint it and use it then not paint it and leave it in a box somewhere stored. I say go for it!! It will be fabulous and you will enjoy it more.
I think it'd be beautiful white.
Ok White it is, I have a few others things to spray paint as well, so I will keep you all posted......
