How does your Garden Grow?

I Love these potted succulents, they seem to be the only plants I don't kill....
Look how cute they look in the green pots....

Would love this outdoor room in my backyard!

Don't you love these urns!

Another view of the Succulent Mud Room!

If you don't have a green thumb, and I don't you might give succulents a try! I use cactus potting soil, line the bottom of the pot with gravel, add soil and your favorite succulent. Water lightly every few weeks! Enjoy!

Cathleen

First of all, is that your mudroom? If so, can I have it? I love it!

I KILL any indoor plant. I can garden, but when it comes to a houseplant, it's a no-go. And if I didn't kill it, my cats would!

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

I love that mudroom as well! Maybe the succulents would grow for me as well. The plants I currently have...they struggle! :)

You have elevated succulents to a totally new level. Spectacular photos.

Tanya,

I wish this was my Mud Room! But, If I had one this is what it would look like! LOL

Here in Southern California we don't have mud rooms, or basements. If they do it's very rare, and I've never lived in a house that had either one! Sometimes the laundry room will have an entry, which could be considered storage room, since it doesn't snow I guess there isn't the demand.

Cathleen :)

I don't do well with indoor plants; but out side I can grow some; I am still expericing what to plant where. Great blog

Succulents are beautiful. They look like big blooms to me. They also work so well at this time of year when other plants are hibernating.
Thank you for sharing.

What a gorgeous collection of pictures you have gathered. I love the 'sculptural quality' of succulents, and they can look equally fabulous in a traditional garden as they do in an ultra modern one.

Just found your blog & love it.
I might have to try those plants - I seem to kill everything else.

I most certaintly do not have a green thumb. I will have to try out succulents and see who it goes.

Thanks for the tip.

Hi Cathleen :)

Those bring back memories of California. I had some that I grew in my house, but they didn't make the move last go round. I think I'll get some for the next time so that I can have a little piece of "home" with me ;)
