My Green Bug

A few of you have asked about my Green  Bug so here is a picture similar to my bug. When I saw the new bugs I had to have one!  Mine was a 2001 Green with Tan interior! We tend to get a new car every few years, so I no longer have her. I also had a 1972 Baby Blue Bug. :)

Since we are talking Green Cars, it also brought to mind, my second Car when I was 17 was a 1968 Fiat 850 Spider
similar to the one below, except it was more of a lime green, mine was a convertible too. The only problem with this car was in didn't run half the time. :(

Speaking of Convertible's I have owned 3, the Fiat, a VW Cabriolet and my Current Car below, my BMW, my Baby

I also name my Cars, LOL but, that's another story!

xoxo,
Cathleen

Let's hear it for the VW! I had my first in 1961, a black bug. Then a red bug in late 60's with a few larger station wagons through child rearing years. In 2001 I purchased the car I drive today ... a black Cabrio. I love my car! I bought it in Orlando, Florida, it made the trek out here to Bend, OR and I have promised it to a grandchild one day!

Oh I love that Spider.

I am a car namer too. Well, until I got my current car). Guess I need to get around to naming him.

Ok! So, I too, had a 1972 VW Bug, in you guessed it! Baby Blue! It was my first car, which I painted cherry red after only a few months of driving it. Now, mind you - at this point, the car was already 26 years old - so it wasn't in the best condition, but I had so much fun spending money on that little guy. After college I got a BMW, not a convertable - a 325i, which I promptly returned at the end of the lease - I wasn't too fond of the maintenance costs. LOL! I'm very happy now in my VW Toureg, but it is time for a change ... perhaps green could be in my future!

Me again. Re: Doves. There is a saying something like when a bird makes a nest attached to your house, it means there is love in the home! Isn't that sweet? And true, I hope :-)

Wow. You must be really cool to have those cars. Convertibles are always fancied by women since the 1960's. But for those who are feeling a little adventurous dreams on driving and owning a truck, which is somewhat admiring. Your latest car is a sweet ride, btw.
