I love the look of black and white checks, either on the floor or counters! It has that classic timeless look.

I have a black and white checkerboard floor in my kitchen. I just love it. I also have black and white tile back splashes. This is the same design I had in my last house, so when we built this one I insisted on the same thing.
Love the floors. I tried to convince hubby to let me do this in the kitchen of my former home, but he would have none of it. LOL I had a friend who had these and said they were hard to keep clean. I have wondered about that. I love them anyway. Great pics - thanks! Blessings, Barb
Very classic, black and white checkerboard floors! I lived in San Diego thirteen years, now back home in kansas City. Visit my art & inspiration site when you have time!
This is exactly what my kitchen floor will look like. I already have it in the grandchildren's play room and I love how it looks. I am also going to paint my kitchen cabinets white. Love it. thanks for the great photos. Roberta Anne
The checkered look is everywhere these days, from clothes to walls and floors. I'm on you that the black and white checkers look timeless and elegant too if I may add.
Agreed agreed agreed! Love the checkered look! I saw it in navy and teal once in a bar, and fell in love! One day - in a far away kingdom! Did you watch the girls tonight? SPICY!
I do love the black and white checkerboard look. Alot of the homes in my neighborhood had these floors in their kitchens and bathrooms and some took them out. What a shame-they are timeless as you have shown. Than you for sharing. Jane
