MERCURY GLASS ORNAMENTS AND ANGLE WINGS NESTING BIRDSWhat do you use for your mantel decorations? I'm working on mine, and needed a little inspiration... I have a Flat Screen right over the mantel, and I never thought I would say this, but the TV's in the way!!! I'm partial to the angel wings! Who cares if you can't see the TV Screen!
Beautiful photos! I have our family beach potrait over our fireplace, but I put garland with lights, bows, etc. on the mantle. Our stockings are hung too.
I hope you're enjoying the Holidays. BTW, I posted how my Mom and I made our cinnamon stick Santas. Stop by and see when you can.
Hahaha...I think Hubby would...I love the angel too...Your photos are so inspiring...I wish we lived close...so that we could pop in and help each other out...Texas is a great place...:) hint hint! :)
Mmmm still working on mine. I always fill all the gaps in the mantle greenery with Christmas Lilie blooms, but as I mentioned over @ The Hedge, ours are very late blooming this year. So the gaps are still waiting patiently, & I'm desperate for some action in the CL dept.!
MOTH suggested I should go down & zap them with my hairdryer to open them up, but that would need the longest extension power cord in history to reach the bottom end of our garden! Millie ^_^
Im an Interior Designer specializing in home design, remodels, home staging and model homes. I live in San Diego County near the ocean. I love all kinds of decor, God knows I've had a lot of different styles over the years. I have been trying to incorporate shabby chic and modern in my new home. I will post pictures of how it goes. LOL
My goal is to use this blog to share design styles and ideas.
I will be updating every few days and would love to have you share your thoughts and ideas. Please post comments, I love to know your thoughts!
