Words to Live By

I use to make a New Years Resolution every year, and yes it always was the same thing! I think resolutions are a great way to sabotage yourself... So instead I chose words to live by.

Wishing you all a Happy and Blessed New Year in 2009, and keep on blogging!

xoxo,
Cathleen

Great post Cathleen, and you're right! It is a great way to sabotage yourself. My words are: "Get Skinny", LOL!

Happy New Year!

I was trying to think of something more appropriate than resolutions or in other words resolving something. Who came up with that? You put things in a new perspective. Thank you.
Happy 2009!!

I quit making New Years resolutions years ago, because I only felt guilty when I didn't keep them. I love the words on those stairs. I'd love to have the goal to talk less and say more, since I tend to over-talk. Cathleen, have a wonderful 2009! laurie

Happy New Year, Cathleen
Your blog may be dangerous to my To Do list. Now I want a black and white floor which is easy but how do I get stair with such wonderful words on them in a one story house?

Happy New Year Cathleen!!

I love that idea! I never stick to New Year's resolutions.

Those stairs are beautiful. So is the kitchen in the last post at the bottom and the all white Christmas decor. I'm saving those in my files for next year ;)

I hope you had a wonderful New Years Eve and an even better New Year!

rue

Oh Cathleen...I so agree with you. Resolutions just set me up for failure. I resolve to love others and to love myself more...I need to do that. Happy New Year!!! ...Debbie

Hello Cathleen, Please forgive me for being so bold, but I am doing a bit of blog surf to invite people to sign up for my giveaway. There are no gimmicks. This is just my way of celebrating two years of blogging. On January 4th I am giving away a free caricature drawn by me. I'd be honored if you came by and signed up for a chance to win.
